Hello people of android,
I'm still happily using my Nexus One. I'm currently traveling around Africa for work. Internet cafes/hotel lobbies here typically have very weak wifi signals. My Macbook can usually connect but I don't always have it with me. My phone is not fairing so well.
Wondering if anyone has tried some kind of portable (preferably battery powered) wifi repeater. Would love to have on in the bag. Turn it on pick up the weak signal and let my phone connect to it. I'd need something that works on open networks with no admin access.... asking too much?
