I have an idea for an app that uses facial recognition to see who has turned on and is looking at your phone. The purpose of this app is to catch people who shouldn't be looking at your phone redhanded and without any sort of alert that they've been caught. And the app immediately sends an email to you along with the picture when an unauthorized person is caught turning on and looking at your phone.
Sure, you could set up facial recognition to unlock your phone but that'll instantly tip off them off.
When you first install the program, you have it take a picture of your face and store it in its database. You can also add the faces of people you don't mind checking your phone without your permission (like family members if you let them like me.)
Is this something that can be done on a Stock Nexus 5 running 5.1 without root?
