Root Possible Unbrick Method?

I have a working (broken) and bricked (fine) OT Fierce 2 through MetroPCS, unlocked since I'm through T-Mobile. Was rooted, unrooted to install an OTA update and BOOM!!! The phone was bricked. Forever stuck on bootloop and with NO recovery.

Rumor has it someone finally captured an OTA update.

I've also heard of a tool (SP Flash Tool or something along those lines) that flashes Alcatel and other MTK Chipset phones. Being a chinese phone brand I'm just assuming this phone is MTK since there's NO WAY for me to stop bootloop.

Any devs wanting to work some magic? Could this possibly work or be modified to work?

Im about in the same boat. I have a good Alcatel Fierce 2 stuck in bootloop. I messed up the system folder and even though i have a good backup there seems no way yet for me to replace the /system folder.

My phone is a little better off it will still boot into stock recovery.

And i know for sure the only problem i have is the system folder that i could replace with the original good one i have.

Im waiting for someone to post that OTA update as it will flash in my stock recovery and hopefully fix my phone.

Other than that ive built a update zip out of the stock rom but it wont flash with the stock recovery.

There is one way i can think to fix the phone and possibly load a custom recovery.

If you hold the VOL down button in with the phone turned off and just plug in the USB it connects to the Qualcom QDLoader in download mode.
The question is what software to use to interface with it that has the ability to wipe / Format specific partitions and re-flash the partition from the backup.

Other than that the OTA image is my only hope.

I did much work to ensure a way to re load working devices.

I need the recent OTA update for one touch fierce 2 7040T to make a way to unbrick.

Nobody ever got it for me.

If only I had that ota.

So question @Bigcountry907 ,the alcatel i have is the 7040N that is stuck on bootloop,but i still have have access to the stock recovery
so i was wondering.....Other than using Flashify to install your recovery,is there another way i can install your modified recovery via adb sideload (since thats the only access i have)???..
