Possible Virus/Scam

Has anyone received weird messages through Google Play Store? I just received one and of course me being stupid I opened it because I was curious. I took a snapshot of the notification. I ran an AVG scan just in case and it found nothing..as of yet. This screenshot does not contain ANY of my personal information. Can anyone answer this one for me? Thanks!

That's actually from Google Play Services, not Google Play Store. As the name suggests, Google Play Services provides a number of services (get it?) both to Google apps as well as third-party apps.

In this case, it looks like Google Play Services was displaying a notification to let you know that someone had shared a photo with you via the Google Photos service.

This isn't anything to be concerned about.

Yeah it's a bit weird that a stranger would share an image with you via Google Photos, but even clicking through wouldn't pose any risk to you (aside from potentially seeing something you'd rather not.... ;) ).
