Possible Walkie Talkie like Nextels "Chirp"?

Hello,

Years ago Nextel had that button it their phones that was a real time Walkie talkie.

I Have a small delivery service (by small i mean 1 truck). Sometimes I need to send a message to the team asap. Currently I call or send a text. But if they are driving, I dont want their eyes off the road.

Does anyone know of an app that Is ALWAYS running and will receive a message in real time?

While I don't have an answer for ya, I figured I'd move your thread into the Application forum to get more help/eyes on your issue since I didn't think it was device specific ;)

If you wanted it moved back, or I am thinking a bit cloudy, just let me know :D

There are other "walkie talkie" type apps as well.

If your team are all using their own phones, that you don't have any admin control over, I think it maybe difficult to ensure that everyone is running the app and it's connected.

Thank's Ill check it out.

I have a android tablet that I own and is always in the truck so it will only work while its in the truck and Im ok with that. I have to make sure they dont feel like im invading their privacy too much
