Postman robbery?

Has anyone had any experiences where the postman has robbed some of your goods? Parcels/Mail that you was expecting.

I'm looking to buy a phone (GNEX) costing around
 
If its in a regular unmarked box .how will he know what's in there. Has it happened? Yeah but will it happen to you more than likely not. Looks like you are in England being the symbol you used. So can't speak for your country. I know in the US I never had it happen to me but there's always a possibility.
 
of course it is possible.. and i would guess it has happened.. but rarely..

when you use your credit card .. at a restaurant... and they walk off with your card to the back..for 10 minutes... are you going nutz with worry???

theft happens to all of us.
there aint nothing you can do about it..
good thing there are processes in place to protect you and the cost of it...
so just push it out of your mind till happes to you.
or you will go nutz and end up putting a tin foil hat on your head
 
christmas last year i had 2 cards stolen that i know had gift cards in them. other than that, i havent had an issue.

I had a Christmas card stolen this year too, but it may have just gotten lost. I am ordering a violin this week from Amazon, I hope no one takes it.
 
I don't know how some people are saying its fine to order online when all this is going on. I live in the UK but I doubt it would be any different.

With all what going on? A few people out of thousands who have had Christmas cards stolen? And that may not have been the mailman, people will go around and grab cards out of mailboxes during that time of year because they know some have gift cards our cash on them. Order your phone online, and make sure it is shipped with insurance, and you are safe no matter what happens to it.

When it happens it will be too late, what is the sole purpose of screen protectors and cases for phones? Isn't it a hassle to get it out of the case, or that the screen slightly less clear?

"Prevention is better than cure", by taking precautions before I order something of high value online, could be saving me a lot of hassle later on. What if the phone goes missing, who do I report to? How do I prove to them that I haven't received it?

Theft happens to all of us, yes but there are ways to prevent it. Leave the laptop on the car dashboard.
 
I've never had an issue with anything I've ordered being stolen. I've ordered 2 phones. I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of computer components from NewEgg, never an issue. Then again, most of those are sent via FedEx/UPS, so there's always tracking on them.
