Potable quick charger?

I'm looking for a portable quick charger for the g6. Does the charger need to have USB -c in order to maximize the fast charging function?

I see this charger https://www.anker.com/products/variant/PowerCore-Speed-10000mAh/A1266011

But looks like it's micro USB?

Staples has one for $1.98 and you can use your own cord

Checking the specs from the page you linked to this should give you the Quick Charge when you use it. The USB-C part needs to be on the end of the cable you plug your phone onto not on the charger. USB-C port on the charger is for charging it faster not the phone.

I think you are confusing USB-C and USB-3, one is the plug and the other is the protocol. In any event, this charger should quick-charge your G6, but be careful as all USB-C cables are not equally and a cheap or bad one won't quick charge.
