Apps Power dissipation/energy consumption

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is any possible way to check for example how much energy and power is being dissipated/consumed by some portion of code.

I think it is possible to check the battery status and empirically do some testing using this measure, but it seems very innacurate.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated =)
