power management ic heating up Google G1

hi , i have a google G1 . the phone switches on . works prefectly . only problem is that teh phone shows short while checking in the multimeter and the power management ic is heating up a lot . in 30 seconds its boiling hot . can any one help me on this . i have also attached a pic of my board . if any one have knowledge about hardware . please let me know hoe to fix it .

Ok, well fixing anything on a small board like this isnt going to be easy.
