Poweramp not getting overrulled by another app

Hi there ive got poweramp full version and M8 sat nav on my galaxy nexus.

I have both running and when the sat nav give directions it dont pause music and say them, The both are running together so music playing and sat nav giving directions at the same time.

Ive got the settings pause in call/resume after call ticked and also short audio focus change and permanent audio focus change all ticked.

Anyone any ideas?
