is there same for USB 3.0 hard drives?

this way we can use / connect my 2TB hard drive to Android anywhere ..

what do you think?

or some hack like will mini USB to micro USB connector work?

thank you!

I haven't seen an explicit USB 3.0 version but they probably exist, but in any case you need an OTG adaptor cable to connect any drive to an Android device. The OTG adapror provides a standard USB socket that you can plug any USB device into - whether it works is another matter.

Not all devices even support OTG mass storage and of those that do some will power a hard drive directly (like my Lenovo Yoga) while others don't provide power at all. But that's irrelevant if you intend to use external power always.
