PPSSPP Black Screen (Google Pixel XL)

Hey All, So I'm a complete noob when it comes to using emulators so I don't have a clue how to fix this issue. I've downloaded the lastest PPSSPP version 1.8 and I'm trying to play Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force 5 (which I already have downloaded and unzipped) but when I click on the game it loads up with a black screen and doesn't do anything else. I'm using a Google Pixel XL on the latest android version. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the settings on the App but I don't know what I'm doing nor do I understand half the stuff it says in the settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing to check is go-to settings, graphics,render. If Vulcan doesn't work try open gl.
 
Sure the game image is aright and not corrupted? Also do you know if this particular game is actually supported and runs on the emulator? Have you tried any other PS games with it?

I download the game and tried it, works fine on my phone.

Try to redownload as suggested. I did and it works fine on my phone
