I spoke with my Sprint carrier yesterday and inquired about pre-ordering my Note 3. They said they are not taking any pre-orders at this time. is this true?

Each carrier has their own protocol for pre-orders; I would advise patience, as (according to my information) the Sprint Note 3 is scheduled for release on October 4th. Considering that this is in the phablet category of devices and not a phone, demand will not be nearly as high for it as, say, an iPhone 5S. Stores should have plenty in stock for you on that day. Keep your chin up: your new phone is coming!
