precise pin dropping? nfc solution?

Hey all!
I'm working security in a 225,000 ft^2 building with 33 checkpoints scattered throughout. Tonight is my first night at this post and it has proven tremendously difficult to find some of these points. I'm touring the building now and would like to drop pins--to use Google maps talk-- at each point, so as to make my official rounds easier; Google maps, however, obviously can't rly be used for this application; so, my question: are there any android apps for this kind of pin-point, precise "pin dropping"? All I have is my HTC one m8, so im limited to an android solutions for now. Other solutions (perhaps using nfc tags or something) would be useful for tomorrow night. Thanks in advance.

To get better than 10 meter (30 feet) accuracy with GPS (outdoors - in a building it's probably going to be less accurate), you need millimeter GPS, which you can't do with an Android phone because it's missing the low frequency receiver it needs to get the correction data. (And millimeter GPS boxes aren't as cheap as top of the line cellphones - by a couple of orders of magnitude.)

NFC won't help you find the points, because you have to be at the point to touch the NFC tag with the phone. The range of NFC is basically contact - 0 inches.

Try using a text app and real (as opposed to artificial) intelligence - write down a description of where the points are in a text file.
