Predictive Text is using Contact Info

Hello,
I'm a new forum user, apologies if this question isn't appropriate.

Somehow I changed the settings on my phone so that the predictive text has started prioritising the names in my contact info when autocompleting the text.
For example, if I type "thr" it won't suggest "the" but "Theo" .

I recall changing a setting somewhere in the phone that enabled this, but now I want to turn it off and have no idea where this setting was buried away.

I have a Nexus One, running Android 2.1. I am also running Cyanogen 5.0.6-N1 so it might be a feature associated with it.

If anyone has any help then I'd be immensely appreciative, thanks!

Should be in your keyboards settings.

Unfortunately I don't see anything there. One bizarre thing is that I have two "Android Keyboard" things in the keyboard settings. Both have identical options except one includes Voice Input. Their settings appear to be independent as well.

But in any case, I only have three Word Suggestion options:
Quick Fixes, Show Suggestions, Auto-Complete.

None seem related to the problem, toggling between them (and across both "keyboards") doesn't seem to have any effect.

Edit: Also, my User Dictionary is empty according to the settings.

It is in settings >search >searchable items. Uncheck contacts.
