Help Predictive text stopped working

My keyboard stopped doing predictive text. It no longer auto corrects/auto replaces/auto punctuates or capitilizes.

Predictive text is still turned on. I've tried turning it off and back on. I've tried restarting my phone.

My phone was relatively recently updated, so I'm wondering if there was some sort of a bug with the update? However, I only noticed predictive text not working this weekend and I believe the update was over a week ago.

Did you take a look at your keyboard setting?

Not sure what setting was off, but I reset my keyboard settings and it seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks!

I went to settings->apps then ... Show System Apps
Scroll down to ‘Samsung keyboard’
Select ‘Storage’
Click ‘Clear Cache’
Click ‘Clear Data’

Then re-start the phone and the predictive text was working

old thread but new problem for me. preditive is gone. it was great. i want it back. none of the fixes that can be googled do anything. including those above. anything else?
