Apps Preloaded apps: what do they do?

Hey all, this might not be the right place to post, but I could not find another link going over this stuff. My phone occasionally runs several apps that I am unfamilar with.

Right now there is one called ATCommandApp. Not sure what it is for or what it does. Can anyone tell me?

I have a stock MB200 running the 1.1.4 software.

Seems that ATCommandApp is the app name for Motorola's "BLUR" application. I think that's the "cool UI" application.

There is another app that calls itself Motoblur services though...
