Help Prepaid S3 Bypass Activation?

I have a Verizon SCH-I535pp that i cannot access because I cannot bypass activation. I've tried every variation of touching the four corners that I can find and none of the codes above work in the emergency dialer (which is the only one I can access). Also, I've tried a handful of different rooting softwares that yeilded no results. Anyone know how to circumvent Verizon's bullshit?

The following was in a file in the phone called ModelName.txt

I don't want to connect this phone to another carrier or anything, I just want to use it with wi-fi only. Any ideas, O ye mighty hackers?

It sounds like Verizon took some extra steps to "discourage" folks from purchasing their discounted prepaid phones and using them as wifi-only devices.

I Googled around a found a few options that might help you though:

From AndroidCentral:

I got it to work. I went thru Setup Wizard to activate with Verizon prepaid but elected to pay later. I was given a phone number and gained access to the dial pad and to all the system settings. I couldn't dial out because I put no money in the Verizon prepaid account yet.

From XDA:

The only way I have found to by pass the activation screen is to select language then activate wen operator comes on hit couple keys on dial pad then menu add to contacts then it will ask if u have new or existing acc hit either 1 then it will let u conect to wifi once conected go bac to dial screen hit s voice ( looks like microphone) but u hav to b connected to Internet tell it to open settings in settings go to home screen mode pick 1 and then your no longer stuck at activation lock until u factory reset agin .....
