Prepaid voicemail forwarding. TMo says NO.

I decided to kick my contract a while ago, and after switching to TMo's prepaid plain I discovered that my voicemail forwarding no longer worked. I called support and was told that voicemail forwarding was not available for pre-paid plans.

I used YouMail for a few years and am now rediscovering how much I hate TMobile's standard voicemail service.

Are there other carriers that offer prepaid unlimited 4G voice/data/text and conditional voicemail forwarding?

ATT and most of their mvnos offer conditional call forwarding. The unlimited might be promised but not delivered on ATT.

I have read Solavei provides voicemail forwarding, as well as offering voice, text, and data roaming (T-Mobile only offers voice and text on prepaid). Solavei uses T-Mobile's network, is $49 month for unlimited talk, text, data; data is throttled after 4 GB. They also have a program where you get $25 off/month for every three active users that you referred.

I should have specified in my OP that I am interested in prepaid plans only. Do you know whether Solavei offers these same services with prepaid?

Talking with TMo now. They have a no-contract post-paid plan that's the same price as the pre-paid plan. I can use Voicemail Forwarding with the post-paid, no-contract plan. No charge to switch over.

All set. thanks.

I have been using Solavei since January. They only have one plan, and it is prepaid. I use the conditional call forwarding feature so I can use Google Voice for all my voicemail. (I use both my GV number and my sim number.) I never even set up my Solavei voicemail...

It's $49 for unlimited talk/text/data unthrottled for 4GB. After taxes and fees my bill is ~$55 - but that will vary based on where you live. They are a T-Mobile MVNO.

They do have a referral program - it is optional, and free to participate in (which I do.) Let me know if you have any questions.
