Can anyone tell me if it is possible to prevent messages from showing up in the default messaging application? Not turning off notifications, I mean showing up there period. Anyone????
I don't think so. I think SMS messages are stored on the phone at the system level, and then the apps are what allow you to read them, and the messages are shared across all the apps.
