preview style launcher?

hi all,

in a moment of boredom i started playing with launchers/shortcut apps and i decided i quite like the way the preview/helicopter view display lots of info - But when in this mode, the normal launcher functions obviously dont work - im using ADW at mo

is there a launcher/app out there that can give the preview panes look but still have normal functions too - ie quick access to a dock bar type feature etc

i realise im probably stretching android......and rational thought to its limits - but hey

mmmm yeah - it doesnt really work does it

im trying sidebar app now - have tried it before and removed - but the launch from anywhere is pretty cool - it does work in preview mode too
