privacy protection password locked my phone and I can't get in

how do i unlock my phone from privacy protection password?

Try booting into safe mode (hold volume up + volume down while while the phone boots for most devices) and remove the admin permissions and uninstall it. Unless it is a system app that is baked in.

I put in back the original sim, I never took it out. I turned my phone off and turned it back on and it asked me for privacy protection password. I tried every possible one I could think of. I even tried defaults.
no, it's not rooted

Is it asking for a pin? If you set up anything like fingerprint unlock it will require you to enter the pin after a reboot. You would have entered it when you set up the fingerprint unlock.
 
no there's no pin... no fingerprint, I wiped my phone before because it gave a delay time of maybe 20 seconds. and in that time I wiped it in all hopes that it would just reset. it didn't, so it no longer asks for my pin. now it just asks for the pin for the privacy protection password.

Maybe there is a google account logged in to it before you reset it, it happened most of the time if thats what you did, and also why does it gave a 20sec delay time is it in the animation? Because 20sec is a lot even if your phone storage is full it will not gonna give a delay time that long.
 
yes, my google account... it could be less than 20 seconds. I wasn't counting. I only knew I had limited time to try to factory reset before it locked... but I don't know how to access it from my google account.

Sorry i dont know if i can 100% help you because i havent encounter this issue before, but as you said before you reset it you have a google account signed in to it.
 
Yeah i know but, like when you try to sign in your google account then after you write the password is that the time that they ask you about the privacy protection code?
