Help Privacy Protection Password to unlock for Infocus M350

Ankywishh

Lurker
I am using Infocus M350 phone from last few days I was getting some android interface error so i did Hard reset and the problem got resolved but now when i am trying to unlock the pattern from the password which i was using earlier and even on reboot I got this message:

"Please enter the Privacy Protection Password to unlock"

Please help!!!

So did this password problem occur immediately after the reset? The fact that you say "the problem got resolved" implies that the device worked after the reset, and then this started some time later, but if so then that would suggest that the reset was not responsible.

Generally when people get locked out of a device after a factory reset it's the "factory reset protection" that's the problem, but if that were the case it would have happened immediately (and you'd not know whether the other problem was solved). If it is that then you need the password of the Google account used on the phone prior to the reset.

Otherwise it sounds more like a regular lockscreen password. If you've ever set that up, try the last one you used. Or try your google account password anyway.

I am not able to open my device so how can i use google account password recovery option.
please find attached .jpg image for your reference.

I meant try your Google password as the password it is asking for.

But OK, that doesn't look like any FRP screen I've seen. It looks more like a normal lockscreen PIN (alternative to the pattern, which is less secure). So have you ever set a PIN, either on the phone or the SIM?

And to ask the original question again, did this start immediately after the reset, or did you use the phone at first and then this started? If the second then what did you do before this started (including both security settings and installing any security/privacy apps)?
