Root problem after flshing 2.3

i flashed my galaxy mini with android 2.3 of european region and i am getting the home look of 2.2 and dailing and contacts all of 2.2 except that all is of 2.3 what is this

the battery bar should change to green and some change in wireless icon. is there any new apps install i am planning to install for my younger brother. if not much change i think i won't upgrade to 2.3. can use screen shot me 2.3 android?

Yes, UI is not changed from froyo or 2.2.1 because gingerbread is also topped with TouchWiz 3.0 that is why you see no difference in interface, but by upgrading to gingerbread you can see improved performance in multimedia, memory management, etc. The main difference is with kernel.. please look at the kernel version, it is not like froyo's. I checked youtube videos..now it is playing hq videos..

Upgrade to gingerbread without any hesitation and enjoy taste of gingerbread.
