I purchased an unbranded Android phone online and need some support. I am having an issue with downloading a cache cleaner or SanDisk Zone app so I can then delete a lot of factory loaded games ect. When I try to download it says that I do not have enough space, even tho I do. I did all of the usual and also inserted an SD card , but I cannot delete or move anything without the proper app to go through the files.

You can't uninstall system apps (which most pre-installed stuff is loaded as) without rooting the device, so the apps you mention won't help with that anyway (though they should make cache cleaning easier). On the other hand, system apps live in a different storage area so you won't gain space by deleting them. If you just clear data on unwanted pre-installed apps (from the applications menu) and disable them if you can then that will be effectively the same as uninstalling them.

Can you post again with more information please: what phone model, software version, how much internal space you have (give information for all storage partitions you can see, and the total as well as the free space)? This may help someone identify the cause of the problem. Android does like to keep some working space (all app data live in the internal storage, so you get into a lot of trouble if you completely fill it), so it will block app installations before you are completely full, so this might be the problem. On gingerbread (android 2.3) it would do this when 90% of the internal space was used - I've not yet discovered what the limit is in more recent Android versions ;)

In the meanwhile, what you can try is clearing individual app's caches using the applications menu.
