Problem in connecting Samsung GT-I9082 with PC

Could not connect GT-I9082 with my PC running on XP SP3. I installed Samsung Kies but phone is not recognized. Pl help
 
Hi monojit. Welcome to Android Forums. You may need to go into your settings and make certain you have the phone set in a non charge when connected mode prior to connecting to your PC.
