Apps Problem in Virtualization - the first Android app

Hi,

This is Sriharsha, a brand new beginner level android app developer. Having a fair bit of experience in coding, I set out to write an Android mobile application and deploy it successfully. For this, after a decent research, I started using Android Studio by Google to begin with a basic "Hello World" application. However, when I try to use the Android Virtual Device Manager and run the application it says HAXM hasn't been installed. However,

1. I have searched in the SDK Manager, which says it is installed.
2. I have enabled virtualization in the BIOS settings of my notebook laptop.

Inspite of this, it says HAXM needs to be installed.

I shall be grateful to all of you, if you can help me overcome the hurdle at the start level.

Thank you.
