Problem since OTA 2.2

Has anyone who received the 2.2 update noticed that when certain applications are run it opens in landscape viewing even when you are holding the phone upright?

Happens a lot to me now since the update (OTA)

Any ideas how to fix this?

Yeah, happened to me too along with other issues. Went to Verizon yesterday and they told me there's no way to fix it so they're sending me another phone that's "hard loaded" with 2.2 instead of OTA and that should be better. I really don't know anymore if they have any clue about what they're telling us but whatever, I guess I don't care as long as I get a phone that works.
