Problem syncing calender and email

Hello,

This is my first android, long time iphone user so I am a little confused as to how this works.

I have a telstra bigpong account which I have connected and use through outlook 2013. I have been able to set this email up so it runs through the default the email app on the phone but the calender app on the phone will not sync with the calender I have on my outlook 2013 on my laptop.

Can anyone please let me know how to sync between my laptop calender and the calender on my xperia Z2?

I had a similar issue with Sony's calendar app on my Z1s when I first got it. The piece I missed was I had to setup the calendars I wanted the Sony app to sync with, the default is the on device calendar.

I completed this step by pressing the menu dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, tapping calendars and adding the calendars I wanted to sync with.
