Help Problem transfering vids to laptop

So,I hook up my phone to my laptop and when I try to move the vids on my phone to the laptop,they're in mp4 format & will only play the audio,there's no actual video.Wtf is going on?

what media player are you using on your computer? Try vlc player, it will play anything.

Also, where did the vies come from? The phones camera?

I just downloaded vlc player & it didn't work.It did the same thing as the media player I have on my laptop;it just played the audio.

That is strange. So are the videos from your phone's camera, or are they movies you down loaded or what? Also you might try asking over at xda, because there are more people over there that might be able to help. Here is a link to them.
