Help problem updating xperia mini

Hi

just bought the mini and installed the software on my computer which then tells me there is an update for the phone available

but when i try to update it, the phone turns itself off after saying no service/sim card and asks for the S1 boot disk?

does anyone know whats going on?
 
Honestly I'm not familiar with that software asking for you a "S1 boot disk", is that an error from your Windows OS on your computer? or did you root that phone?

I recently (2 weeks) buy SE Xperia mini x10, nice, smooth n I enjoy d android things, install PC Companion, upgrading version, ...but not 4 long since I install kaspersky lite, n synchronising.
both my yahoo mail n gmail stop supplying 2 my inbox :confused:. I hv tried reinstalling n resetting all, but still d same :mad:

how I can fix this problem since I still got no time visitting d gallery, so far I hv free only on sunday. tyvm in advance 4 ur help
