Problem viewing pictures off NAS

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone could help me here. I have an HTC Desire.

I have installed Astro along with the SMB module, and have set this up to access my NAS, which is a DLINK Sharecenter Pulse NAS. I am successfully able to browse the files on the NAS, copy them to the phone etc.

However, one thing resolutely refuses to work. What I'd like to be able to do is click on a jpg stored on my NAS and view it on the phone. When doing this, I get offered the choice of "Astro Image Viewer" or "View Picture" in order to display the image. However, both options just lead to a blank screen. If I copy the image to the phone and view it, all is fine.

I've also tried other software that can also connect to the NAS and strangely the same thing happens with pictures. Music seems to stream fine though.

Is there anything I might be missing here?

I use Estrongs File Explorer, which had the same failure with pictures on my NAS.
But the new version of Estrongs no longer has this problem.

Yes, that works for me too. Must be a bug with Astro then.
