Problem when downloading iTunes Remote

I have a question,
maybe I am just oblivious because I just got my G1 yesterday, but when I download the iTunes Remote from Phandroid, it downloads
 
If I'm not mistaken there's a video on phandroid that shows how to install it if not look on g1tube.com for how to install apps. Short answer when it asks permission just allow it, it just wants access to your wifi, and whatever else it needs to communicate with your pc.
 
Yeah I saw the video and it is not it. I'm not sure if this is something else that needs to be installed first..... interesting, but still confusing
 
I had that problem a couple times too, Jake.

Try deleting all related applications, rebooting your phone and trying again. There does seem to be a "snag" somewhere in there and you just have to try it a couple times before it eventually works.

That Android System thing was rather odd and annoying though, I must say.
 
Are there any Applications that would cause this? I really have only downloaded 1 from the market and one from a developer from the site. Tried rebooting about 4 times, still the Same thing. I decided to just Install the Android System, and it just says "Installed".

Very strange...Im sure it is just a bug for now.

Not sure if this will help, but this is a video on how to install apps off developer websites.
- I cant find the one Phandroid made but when I do, It'll be up.

I had the Same Prob because i was downloading and installing not connected to a Wifi and not having itunes running when i got home on my Wifi and my laptop connected with itunes running it worked just as the video did
