Help Problem with a game

I have a samsung galaxy ace, my first smartphone, but I noticed that when I play sonic the hedgehog 4 episode 1 it is laggy, what could be the problem?

My friend has the Ipod touch 4th generation and it plays perfect without lag, so why does my samsung galaxy ace have lag?

Samsung galaxy ace is a mid range smartphone for the record.

The problem is the galaxy ace is not really a midrange smartphone anymore. It has a arm V6 processor (the ipod has much newer chip) and a very small amount of memory. When it was released the hardware was out of date and now is unfortunately very much so. Dont get me wrong I love the ACE but its hardware is weak now :(

There are a few decent ways to speed it up but almost all require rooting and installing custom ROM / Kernels which will waive goodbye to your warranty!

Do you mean that once a smartphone gets older its rank goes down? Does that mean that Samsung galaxy S2 will no longer be a high end smartphone once Samsung galaxy S3 is out?

So even when the samsung galaxy ace came it, its hardware was already outdated.

I still like my samsung galaxy ace, it can still lot of things that I need and like.
 
I love my ace, but compared to the phones out now it is very dated in terms of specs.
