Help problem with ads

long story short my sister handed me her tablet complaining of ads bothering her while watching netflix. turns out something called adclient is on there, which l uninstalled, but it seems to come back shortly after.. not sure where its coming from, one thing l do know is we got the tablet from amazon, and l was surprised to find out that it was pre-rooted.

What tablet is it, make and model, although if it was already rooted I suspect it's a no-name cheapo. Could be it came with the adware stuff. As it is rooted, possibly you could see about uninstallling or disabling it, but be very careful though as could end up bricking it.

If it was bought recently, frankly I'd see about returning it to Amazon for a refund.

Have a look at NoRoot Firewall at the play$tore and see if you can install it on the tablet.

If it can be installed, it can deny the adclient accesses (the ads) to the internet.
