My camera will open up but when I take a picture it doesn't show up in the gallery. I also can't save pics or download them. I've tried everything even a factory reset and I still have the problem. Any ideas?

Help problem with camera and gallery

Open Camera, then Settings, then scroll to Locations.
Set the location to where you want it, in my case, I chose extSDcard. After that, it shows up in extSDcard/DCIM/Camera
Failing that helps, use E.S.FileExplorer and look at your DCIM folders and make triple darn sure the file named ".nomedia" does not exist. If it does, the Gallery will ignore any folder that contains that file.
