Problem with charging port Galaxy S3

I just bought 2 phones for my girlfriend and I, both Galaxy S3, and no matter what charger we use the phone port is not properly charging/connecting. WHY doesn't the insurance cover the defective charging port? They want me to pay a deductable...what is the best thing to do since im stuck with these phones.

Hi LEScontractor. Sorry to hear of your charging problem. You might look to see if a pin is bent on the connector. You might also make certain the battery is making contacts and seated correctly. Those are the two easiest problems to fix. If it's an internal wiring problem, a repair, either return or local phone repair shop is likely in order. Unless you are adept at working on such things.
