problem with g1 firmware update (1.1)

Ok, I updated my cell phone this morning and now, when I try to sign into my AIM account or download anything from the market.


Does anyone know what is wrong with my phone? And I know its not my location because my brother (who lives with me) can do evrything just fine

Erm I think there is something missing from your post. What happens when you try to sign or download from the market?

I also had a similar problem with the market a few hours after I updated [note, immediately after the update I was logged into the market]. Can you see that your GPRS, Edge, or 3G is doing any work? [the notification for it will light up if it is].

I solved this with a reboot. Why? No idea why this happened, and as long as it's a one-time thing for both you and me, I'm fine with not knowing.
