Problem with GO switchwidget

So I have GO launcher EX installed and several of its Widgets, including switchwidget. I gave it permission as an administrator so that the "lock screen" button could function properly. However now that I don't want it, I can't revoke the administrator permission. I uncheck the box, it asks me are you sure, and then nothing happens. It still has administrator access so I can't uninstall it. Not too happy here... stock LG optimus v

I would guess that you can disable it under menu/settings/location-security/select device administrators in the main phone menu.

That's the problem, when I try to disable it, nothing happens. It still shows the green check mark (still has administrator access)
