Problem with Meebo IM

hiya i currently have the HTC Tattoo Android phone and was able to install Meebo IM but i noticed that it was disconnected after an hour or so. why is this? is this dependent on the wi-fi or 3.5G signal? is there any way i can have it connected almost always?
 
No, it's a problem wit the app. A search of the forums reveals several threads on this issue. People complain about the interface but I'm using Hi AIM. It may not be "pretty" but it WORKS, as long as I don't leave a chat open when the screen times out, which is easy to do.
