Help Problem with my brand new HTC Magic

Hello everyone,

i thought i won't need this type of post but i was wrong after all

i got (shipped) from UK my HTC magic, lovely phone, looks great, got it out from its box and "Wow"...everything seems to be ok but...phone microphone is out, dead...changed SIM, restore from phone's menu...still ain't working

must to add that i've tried few versions before on the phone before testing it first time for adding more language support and etc

what shall i do? any tips?

when i'm attaching the headphones + mic cable everything is ok...

Sounds like a hardware fault to me, it happens I'm afraid.

All you can do, other than opening the device and tracing the fault yourself*, is to exchange it with the supplier for another device.

*(which will negate any warranty on the device, so if you do this be sure you know what you're doing)

will try to find out if i have anyone in the UK or will try find out a local supplier to exchange maybe
