I have been looking through the post your homescreens thread and am trying to have a go at making some myself.
I have a samsung galaxy S2 and currently have the default launcher, launcher pro, Go launcher, and ADW installed and am able to switch between them using home switcher.
If i get an email using the default launcher i get a red notification bubble on the releveant icon and also in the Social Hub.
If i use any of the other launchers i do not seem to get this.
I am not using G mail but using the samsung email app for 2 different accounts (1 POP and 1 Exchange).
When i get an email for instance in the default launcher if i open the App drawer, the email app has a bubble on it. If i am in another launcher and open the app drawer it doesnt and the same is true of the Social hub icon.
This appears to be the same with SMS also.
I have tried using 'missed it' and that seems to work with SMS and Calls but cannot work out how to get it to work with the emails.
I have also tried executive assistant but have the same problem with the Exchange email account.
If anyone has any idea on how to get around this it would be much appreciated.
I am a total novice when it comes to modifying themes and using different launchers so apologise if this is a stupid question.
thanks in advance
Nath
