Problem with phone Sony Ericsson Xperia x10

I have some problems during updating my phone...you can look at the photo attached below... I tried all of these steps and it still didn't work. What should I do to update my Sony Ericson Xperia X10?

Are you pressing and holding the back key while connecting the usb. I found I had to do it a couple times. Wasn't doing it right. I had my usb connected to the computer but not the phone. I then at the exact same time, connected it to my phone while pushing the back button and it worked.
