Problem with Razr and Bluetooth connecting

I recently purchased the Droid Razr and can't get it to connect to my bluetooth in my vehicle. I had a blackberry connected previously with no problems.
I am getting the following message "paired but not connected" when I click on that it tries to connect. Asks for my password and then won't go any further. Any ideas.
