Problem with Samsung Galaxy Prevail

I hope this in the right forum...

Anyways, I've rooted my phone and had no issues with it. But the android software wanted to update, so I let it (not sure if I should have or not) and I guess when it was updating, something wrong happened and now when I try and turn the phone on, it gets stuck at the BoostMobile logo.

I looked up some resetting methods, and I found one called Odin, that supposedly completely restores your software or something, but when I plug my phone into my computer, the USB noise goes off, but my computer doesn't recognize it. I turned the phone into downloading mode by holding volume down, camera, and power, but it does nothing.

So is my phone fixable, or is it bricked?

Your phone is fixable. You need to get a stock rom from your devs. The reason your phone wasn't recognized, is probably because you didn't install the drivers. You can get those from samsung.
