problem with sdk

i am havin problems installing the android sdk
when i am trying to get the tools for api 8
it keeps saying access denied
can anyone help me out please

Hello, welcome to the forum. Are you on the correct website? android sdk tools - Google Search. Reboot the PC and/or your Device and try again. Sometimes these things usually work better after a restart. Best of luck.

ty m8 i have the sdk now i am havin trouble with the packages it just wont download any help would be welcome

Also, you should see if there are any updates for the Android plugin for Eclipse (if that's what you're using) And post much info as possible about your setup and the error messages.
