Problem with SonyEricsson Arc Gallery

Hi Guys,
it me again,

i am facing a problem, which i don

The stock android gallery app is shockingly poor, i've often found it takes ages to decide to load thumbnails, so it can look like pics have disappeared.

Try an alternative gallery (highly recommend quickpic), see if the photos are actually there or not.

ok, but what about the music?... it looks the same... as if the laibrary is empty!!

exactly!!!.... this is my problem... no Videos, no photos and no music....!!!! really it is an issue...

this was driving me crazy!!! here's the solution that worked for me:

If there is a (possibly empty) file named ".nomedia" (without quotations, and make sure you put the dot as the first character) in a folder of your card, then this folder WILL NOT BE SCANNED (if there is a .nomedia in the root of the SD card, then the SD card will NOT be scanned).

So make sure you delete any unwanted of those and then try
"Rescan Media" by Aditya Talpade (android market)
