Help Problem with syncing music

Hi all,

So I'm having a little issue syncing music onto my Atrix HD using Windows Media Player 11. I recently got a 32GB SDHC memory card and decided to load it up with music to make my iPod unnecessary to carry around with me.

I set up the sync and everything. I had two different sections for my Atrix HD, one specifically for Internal Memory and one for the SD Card. Sometime during the sync, I got a phone call which halted the process entirely. From then on, my internal memory and SD card memory became fused.

I've managed to bypass it by taking out my SD hard and quickly putting it back in, but I don't feel like that's a good thing to do.

I have also tried these things:
Re-installing Motorola Device Manager
Restarting my computer
Unplugging and plugging in my device
Deleting WMPInfo.xml (which worked for a second, and then WMP froze. Now nothing happens when I delete the file)
Unmounting and mounting the SD card
Restarting my device
Ending sync partnership with the device

My computer detects both of the memory drive separate, so I can manually add music files, but that seems to cause organization problems with the media player on my phone.

Windows Media Player detects my phone without the SD Card as "Nick's Phone - SD Card" and with an SD Card "Nick's Phone - SD Card - Internal Memory," however the memory amounts for both are exactly the same, and are my device's internal memory, which is like 3.5GB, opposed to the 29.7GB that should solely exist on my SD Card.

I'll appreciate any help you all can give me!
Thanks.

EDIT: Strangest thing, when I unmount the SD Card and then mount it and refresh my Windows Media Player devices, my phone becomes detected as "Nick's Phone - SD Card - SD Card." The memory amount displayed is correct, and it syncs to the SD Card.

1st, I don't know anything about syncing this way, but I'll suggest an alternative.

Download: Airdroid from the Play store and use this to upload all your music onto the SD Card.

Another thought....if you are on WiFi, then just stream your music from your Google Play account. If you haven't synched with your FREE Google Play, I certainly would suggest it. It stores all your music (and other digital media) in a cloud, and you can access from any device you sign-in on. I stream all my music at work this way, since we are not allowed to download anything (including music) onto work computers. It also saves the hassle of bringing CD's back and forth from home.

I don't know about syncing with Windows Media Player as I never use it, but I just turn on the USB debugging mode (Settings|Developer Options|USB Debugging) and then I can just copy mp3s to my phone to my heart's content.

I never use the Google Play Music app on my phone either; I use Poweramp. I never have organization problems on my phone; if your files are properly tagged, you should be able to organize by genre, folder, artist, album, etc. I have a 64GB SD card in my phone with over 30GB of music on it and never have a problem finding anything.

Another thought....I had an issue this past week where all my music and photos "disappeared." When I checked my settings, I found that the phone had stopped reading my data card. I opened up the back and took it out, put it back in and voila! All my music and pictures returned. I guess the Atrix 2 data card port is a little finicky about how the card is installed, and it can move just a bit----which will cause issues.
