problem with usb mass storage

I've tried using the usb to connect my phone to my laptop and it was working before but yesterday and today it's not. I tried turning on usb debugging and stuff but it just doesn't work. anyone know what could be the problem?
 
Hi ZantTheBant. Welcome to AF. You might try going into your settings and make certain you have your phone set to a NON Charge or Data mode prior to connecting to your laptop. If your phone is in a charge mode it will start charging and not allow data transfers. I hope this helps and thanks for joining these forums.
 
Not knowing which phone you have this is only a general idea. Go into your settings and look for something relating to connecting to PC. If you let us know what phone you are trying to connect, we can get you into it's discussion area for more exacting instructions.
