Problem with viewing OGT's GPX files in MapSource

I'm using the newest Open GPS Tracker by Rene de Groot to record my travels, hikes, and biking and kayaking trips. Everything works fine except that the stored and e-mailed GPX files (v. 1.1) cannot be read by the most recent version of Garmin's MapSource (6.16.1) (Error message: "xx.gpx" file could not be imported).

Has anybody run into a similar problem or have a workaround?
